I am so grateful to have had my surgery here. I breast ex plant surgery. with Dr . Burrell -she does AMAZING work. I look better than ever. From the wonderful office staff to the nurses-THE BEST! Dr.Patel (anesthesiologist) was so thorough and I greatly appreciated it- I have some neck n back issues and I came out of surgery with no neck or back pain. I recommend this SBPS to everyone!!!!

I had two consultations at South Bay Surgeons, and I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Newman. I had a crease/line on my stomach from a previous tummy tuck. I had gotten 12 yrs prior from a different surgeon in Irvine. I was so self-conscious about it for years. Dr. Newman took fat from my lower back and tummy to fill & soften the crease. I also wanted a little fat to my hip dips and was pleasantly surprised he added some to my upper buttocks. I love how it came out. I have some much more curve to my body now. He added some fat to my lips & face i had loss of volume. My lips were so swollen and huge for a month. I was scared they were never going to go down. He told me to be patient. My lips are perfectly plumped, no duck look to them at all.. so natural no one even notices I did anything to them. Dr. Newman's experience shows through his work/skills. He sculptured my body perfectly. I can't leave out my anesthesiologist, Dr. Patel, she was not only my doctor, she treated me like a girlfriend. She called me the evening before, while she was cooking for her children, to ask if I had any questions for her. She went through the process of what I should expect for my surgery the next morning. She made me feel so comfortable. On my surgery morning, I was feeling nervous and shed a few tears. She was so down to earth and sweet that my nerves had calmed down. My total experience was awesome. Had an amazing experience with SB plastic surgeons and Dr. Lisa Jewell who did my breast reduction. She is so lovely and knowledgeable and did amazing work. Her insurance and scheduling teams were helpful and responsive getting my insurance approved and the surgery scheduled and her medical team were all amazing.

Dr Rendon was amazing! He talked me through my procedure and let me know the pros and cons. He listened to my concerns and was very attentive! Following the procedure he also remained responsive with any of my questions and was very patient. Highly recommend!

I had a face lift with Dr. Rendon. I'm 2 months post op and very satisfied with my results. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and his work is clean and precise. He was straightforward and honest which I appreciated. I really loved that he gave me his cell number to talk/text with him directly in the days after. I want to especially shout out my nurses in the OR that prepped me for surgery and the ones after in recovery. Yoko and Anna and a male nurse in recovery who's name I dont remember! They were all incredibly sweet, attentive and accommodating. They will take good care of you here.

So much to say about my experience here eith Dr. Burrell. To note, I have high standards, as I lived in Japan and after that, worked for a Japanese company in a position that required giving service to both businesses and high-end clients (think Olympic tickets and private helicopters). The staff was thoughtful. This was the only place that actually read my initial email so I onew I would be treated as a human instead of a potential sale. When I bumped into issues with getting help from the regular health-care system, the staff knew of a solution to help me move forward. Everything moved faster than I dreamed possible here! Dr. Burrell herself was sensitive to my situation, physically, emotionally, and even financially. The cost was a bit less than I anticipated and the results were far, FAR better than expected, as the US medical system has failed me multiple times. Her bedside manner was fantastic, as was that of the rest of the surgery staff. I was just constantly moved at how human everyone was compared to what I experienced for my basic Healthcare coverage. I'd recommend South Bay Plastic Surgeons to anyone in need of their services, especially Dr. Burrell. I wish I had known someone that could have directed me to her from the start, as I lost so much time bothering with other surgeon's offices in the area!

On April 5, 2024, my daughter has breast reduction surgery with Dr.Liang, and she couldn't be happier with the result. From the initial consultation to the final result, Dr.Liang showed his skills and knowledge and helped her to understand the entire process. The support and care Dr.Liang and his team showed were exceptional, which made the journey smooth and reassuring. I had a tummy tuck back in November 2023 and couldn't be more happy with the results. Dr. Liang was amazing. I went for a consultation back in May of 2023 and he was very honest and open about what he recommended. I had lost a large amount of weight in the past and had excess skin around my belly. He never pressured me and encouraged me to take my time because it is a big surgery. The entire staff was great a well from the nurses, the front desk and the anesthesiologist, I always felt like I was in great hands. Recovery wasn't bad either. The first few days are uncomfortable and while there was expected pain, nothing I couldn't deal with. Dr. Liang was available 24/7 if I needed anything and at 5 months, I have to say my life has completely changed. My confidence is soaring and I'm buying clothes I would never buy in the past because I always had to hide my stomach. I went into the surgery at a healthy weight, but my new flat stomach has pushed me to really look at myself and put more focus on me. I feel like a new person and can't thank Dr. Liang and the staff enough.

Exceptional Plastic Surgeon - Highly Recommended! It's been exactly 2 months since my breast implants removal with capsulectomy performed by Dr. Lisa Jewell, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. Dr. Jewell was incredibly attentive, professional, and demonstrated a high level of expertise, as well as empathy. From the first visit, I felt safe and confident in her care. Her dedication to ensuring my comfort and addressing any concerns I had made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The results exceeded my expectations, and I am genuinely happy with the outcome. Dr. Jewell's skills are undoubtedly top-notch. I wish I could give her 10 stars because she truly deserves it.
