Areolar Tattoo Before & After Case 162

This is a 45 year old female patient underwent a left periareolar lumpectomy with her general surgeon in the past for what was thought to be a benign mass. Soon after, her pathology revealed DCIS with positive margins, and further work up revealed LCIS in right breast. The patient decided to proceed with bilateral skin-sparing (the nipple had to be removed) mastectomies and expander reconstruction. The patient returned close to three months after for bilateral replacement of her expanders with Allergan FF-410-425cc Anatomic Silicone Filled implants. At this time, her surgeon transferred fat from her abdomen and posterior axillae to her breasts. She presented back to our office eight months later for nipple reconstruction. After the patient was well and healed, she met with our talented tattoo artist for areolar tattooing that beautifully pieced together her end result. As you can see, the result is a beautifully contoured breast with a very natural appearing nipple areola complex.
