Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 55

This 38 year old woman came to our office considering a Long Beach breast enlargement after noticing significant changes to her breasts from breastfeeding her 2 children. In particular, she was concerned about decreased breast volume and drooping, which is known clinically as ptosis. Sagging and deflated breast appearance is very common for mothers who have nursed their children, and a common cosmetic concern of patients at our practice.

 

At her consultation, we discussed her surgical options, including breast augmentation and breast lift (mastopexy). Because her breasts did not exhibit extreme drooping and because she wanted to avoid scarring on her breasts, she chose not to have a breast lift. Instead, her surgeon agreed that she could achieve the results she wanted through augmentation alone.

 

During surgery, Allergan Natrelle Smooth Round Silicone Gel implants were placed under the pectoralis muscle (submuscular placement). The 325ml implants took her from an A cup to a full C. Her surgeon recommended high profile implants to create a full appearance with an attractive degree of cleavage.
