Breast Augmentation Before & After Case 83

This 31-year-old female wanted fuller breasts.  She breastfed two children and noticed that her breasts decreased in size.  She also didn’t like the shape of her breasts.  She felt like her breasts were droopy, also known as breast ptosis.  Sagging and deflated breast appearance is very common for mothers who have nursed their children, and a common cosmetic concern of patients at our practice.

This patient came to see one of our South Bay Plastic Surgeons who recommended the ideal procedure for her to enhance her breast shape and size.  At her consultation, her surgeon discussed her options.  She wanted to end up with at least D cup breasts.  She tried on implants in the office to help determine her exact goals.  Based on this size preference, her well trained Torrance plastic surgeon decided that a breast lift procedure would not be necessary.  Together, the patient and her surgeon decided on using an incision around her nipple, also known as a periareolar incision.  They also decided to place the implant under the muscle to provide as much padding as possible over the implant.

During her breast augmentation surgery, Allergan Natrelle Smooth Round Silicone Gel high profile implants were placed under the pectoralis muscle (submuscular placement). The 550ml implants took her from a 34B cup to a 34DD cup.

This patient was able to return to work in only a few days.  This patient is ecstatic with the results of her Torrance breast enlargement procedure.  Her scars are barely visible and she is able to confidently wear all kinds of clothing.  Many of her friends are so impressed with her new appearance that they are eager to proceed with surgery as well.
