Breast Reconstruction Before & After Case 161

This is a 49 year old female who was diagnosed with atypical ductal hyperplaisa, a precancerous condition, in her left breast. She has a very strong family history of breast cancer, which led to her decision to have bilateral nipple-areolar sparing mastectomies. Following her mastectomies, her plastic surgeon inserted tissue expanders that helped create enough space for implants to be inserted at her next surgery. The patient returned five months later to have her tissue expanders replaced with Allergan Style 20 650 ml Smooth Round Silicone implants, which were coupled with fat grafting from her abdomen and flanks to help contour her breasts. This helped give her a great, full shape that the patient was very happy with. She now follows up annually and is pleased with her reconstruction result
