Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty) Before & After Case 135

This 53 year old patient fractured her nose 8 years ago due to a fall; however, prior to that, she was never pleased with how her nose fit with her other features. Principally, she disliked the dorsal hump and the general size of her nose.  She consulted with our doctor about ways to help give her a new look. Her doctor performed both a functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty, correcting the deformities due to the fall as well as perfecting what is called the "aesthectic lines" of the nose: smoothing the dorsum to a more graceful slope, shortening the projection in profile, and giving her face a more globally harmonious look that is both natural and more youthful appearing. Photos depict her beautiful results after 7 months.
